mtPaint Graphic Editor (developed by Mark Tyler) is a free painting program that was designed for creating icons, pixel-based artworks as well as for manipulating digital photos. How to install mtPaint Graphic Editor on Ubuntu 17.04 and below
- For Ubuntu 17.04, we first install mtpaint required dependency
sudo apt install gdebi wget https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archive/primary/+files/libopenjpeg5_1.5.2-3.1_amd64.deb sudo gdebi libopenjpeg5_1.5.2-3.1_amd64.deb
- Now add & update the repo and install mtpaint
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/mtpaint sudo apt-get update && sudo apt install mtpaint
How to remove mtPaint from Ubuntu
sudo apt remove mypaint
